Léim Live

Léim participants take the lead this September at Tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf

Léim participants take part in the third in a series of designed sessions focusing on developing their basic personal and managerial skills needed to be a cultural operator working at EU level. This September sees participants focus on Leadership in an open context lead by Tanzhaus nrw in Düsseldorf, Germany.

These sessions are an opportunity for Léim participant, along with local artists, to understand the wider political and social contexts (European and global) in relation to local experience and to learn particular skills around group dynamic, feedback, reflection and knowledge to articulate next steps – in practice, enabling participants to further form their self-designed projects which they will work on later in the Léim project.

Sessions are broken down into two main elements;

Think-tanks: 1-day intensive facilitated session bringing guest speakers from the world of the arts, business and politics to meet with the participants, share experiences and allow opportunities to develop. This is also an opportunity to reflect and for participants to assess where they are personally and professionally;

Project management tool kits: 3-day tailor-made workshops, focusing on priority aspects to consider when evolving to the next level of the participants management career.

Keep up to date with all the action by following Léim participant Ellie Creighton (IRL) on the Léim Project Twitter account from 03 to 07 September 2013.
